Soon we’ll be celebrating this holiday…yikes midnight?   I wonder how many of us know or ponder the cost of freedom …  I know, I know…  not going to preach (same ole same ole).  However, on this day, I bow my head in gratitude to all who made it so.

Don’t get into a crying jag ?  Party on like it’s _ _ _ _  fill in the year you want.  I can’t speak for you.  That would be downright UnAmerican  Unknown  And please do enjoy my new poem :0

Where, but in America, can one hijack a poem online and insert in his/her blog?!    Don’t know who wrote it, but Thanks!    Hope it resonates with you too.

Freedom’s Price
Today we celebrate freedom
thanks to those who came before.
Those brave men and women who fought and died
in each and every war.
Freedom always comes at a price,
And while we celebrate
We should tip our hats to the heroes
who made our country great.

Carry on!
