Nice person sent this comment to me:
If you are going to do comparison price shopping, then you need to do it correctly. You are not comparing “juices to juices”. Check out your pictures. The 2 for $3 Santa Cruz product is for their mango lemonade which is made from water, sugar and mango puree. The $3.79 Santa Cruz product at Whole Foods is for Apricot Mango juice, which is made with water, pear juice concentrate, mango puree, apricot puree (no added sugar). The Apricot Mango juice at Safeway is regular price $4.39.
I take all comments seriously – and went back to check the photos I posted on my Quickie Update. Well, folks, he/she was right…looked as if I was comparing apples to oranges. So, what happened is that I didn’t get the shelf below the Apricot Mango which held the Mango Lemonade for the same price (lacking photographic skills).
Plan to go back and grab the right photo – I know the Safeway sale is still on – don’t know if Whole Foods is leaving as was – will check it out and photograph accurately.
Happy Day from FigVille USA!
