Canada Dry has a “new” ginger ale on the market “with real ginger” inside, supposedly. I bought one in place of my favorite – Ginger Beer” and couldn’t wait to try it. I twisted of that cap and got ready to enjoy. OooooWeeeee… the contents inside that bottle erupted toward the nostrils and eyes! Couldn’t see for a minute or two while gasping for air. Should have taken that as a warning. Didn’t.
After regaining my composure, I took a big swig, not being much of a sipper. Lord have mercy, that was the most horrible tasting stuff I’d ever consumed. Maybe sipping a new product is a good idea. I’ll remember that. From here on out.
So, I decided to read the ingredients – couldn’t find that ginger anywhere on the label. Had someone else look for it, thinking my eyesight was damaged from the citrus-like burst – but no, it wasn’t there.
Then, I googled it: Here’s Canada Dry’s Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) – a couple of them address the ginger perplexity.
